Education

Graduate (May 2017) of Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) with a Web Development and Design Associate in Arts Degree in the Interactive Web Media track.

About this website

I’ve hand-coded the HTML and CSS files, used Bootstrap for the structure, and used jQuery for placing the SVG (my logo and the LinkedIn logo). I used Dreamweaver to troubleshoot problems, but for the most part I will use SlickEdit for my text editor. My logo and favicon were created in Adobe Illustrator. All of the other images I created in Adobe CC, whether from Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign. The .JS for “More/Less” on the Works pages, come from “Sams Teach Yourself Bootstrap in 24 Hours” by Jennifer Kyrnin.

Professional Experience

Really loved the printing/publishing industry: the people, the work, investigating and learning new programs, solving data problems with the tools that I found. Now, with transitioning to the Web, I find it is still all about typography and content.

The question on my mind: What is the most efficient way to move this content into the clients’ design needs and at the same time try to keep things as error free as I can.

I will always take the extra step to point out things I notice, recommending solutions to problems, and keeping my eyes open for ways to improve the product.

Take a look at two professional websites I created. The first one is for Attorney Larry Markowitz. This is a WordPress website using the Legal Theme. The second is for HappiTee Kennels. This is also a WordPress website but this time using the Blossom Coach Theme.
